Born on 26.03.1968 Tony Marin is creating his own unique form of photography moulded by his life experiences and education. Initially from the Western suburbs of Melbourne and currently residing in Carlton photography has taken him over America, Europe and Asia.

Beginning his education with a diploma in photography at Photography Studies College in 1989. Concentrating on commercial photography out of school before moving towards his true self with art imitating personality leaning towards an intimate form of reportage photography. Preferring to work as an observer and not a director, an expressionist selling moments in time and memories rather than just acknowledging ones attendance. It is this directive vision that sets the art apart in Wedding photography, the chosen field in recent years.

A multi award winning photographer taking inspiration from artists Elliot Irwin and Diane Arbus. Black & white, colour as well as film and digital allow the medium for the moment. Portraits are best when you can see an emotion and in some cases a story.
